I shaved down south last week and i also had sex last week since then i have an occational itch. I have done the one day monistat treatment but it really didnt do all that much, any suggestions?

There is a huge difference between a yeast infection, and an ingrown hair!

One is a bump kinda like a pimple i guess... and a yeast infection... OMG... they itch like crazy.

I'm thinking more of chaffing. Its from your skin rubbing together. I wouldn't shave there all the time because it's very sensitive skin. Also you should never shave against the way the hair grows. Yes it will cause ingrown hairs and also causes itching.

An ingrown hair is a very painful bump that has to be cut out by a surgeon.

try yogurt for yeast and see doctor for better yeast treatment. monistat sucks.

It is probably just hair growth. No one shaves, get waxed. Shaving is bad for your sensitive areas and it is uncomfortable. i just git waxed today, extended bikini. Love it. It takes three weeks for it to grow back and there is no itching. It stings a little t ahve it done but your estetician can walk you through the steps to take to reduce any discomfort. Plus the area appears soft and that it grows naturally that way. It's beautiful.

If it were a yeast infection, there could be an odor and there would a lot of itching. You would be itching like crazy. Back when I would shave, I would be able t otell the difference because the shave-itch seemed to get worse when I was walking because the pokies would rub together. There is a dicernable difference though. Yeast infections could drive a person insane and your discharge should have a tint or thick appearance. You should be able to tell the diffference.

A yeast infection won't come along after sex, Virgin's have em as well, so let's not go there yet till r symptoms r evaluated. A side from an occational itch, do u have a liquid coming from r vagina, on the toilet paper that's clear %26amp; shiny, r panties discolored discharge, an odour, etc. these r the most prominate signs of Yeast Infection which has nothing to do with sex. However u will get 1-10 of them in r lifetime,

the above signs r have an itch, if it was a fling it could be a critter? So look down there carefully with a magnefying glass. They're brown %26amp; crawl, nothing r fine, yes u find something "Kwellada" Shampoo @ r pharmacy asap, body, clothes, %26amp; linen. P.S.
