This is what i would do if its just a bump take a towel and soak it in water(this also works for pimples) and put it in the microwave for about 30 seconds and then when you take it out it will be really hot wait for it to be bearable and put it on the ingrown hair until its ready to pop(if it gets to cold while your waiting then you can re-wet the towel and put it back in the microwave and repeat). Pop the bump and get all the pus out until you get to the hair and pull the hair out with tweezers. NOTE: if it starts to bleed stop immediately you popped it too early and it may scar.
