I am looking for my boyfriend. I need a solution for ingrown hairs on the face from a males in his 20s. He has very course hair and sensitive skin. He has scars on his face from having aggressive acne in his teens. He gets cystic acne also. Please could someone help me find a solution. Face masks, devices, techniques or products. Hot shower BEFORE shaving, moisturize regularly and make sure to shave down (not against the grain).

Exfoliate when you're washing your face at night (not right after shaving).

For the in grown hairs, try apple cider vinegar. It really smells, but put some on a cotton ball/pad and wipe the face and neck. Let it sit for a few seconds and then wash off with warm water and pat dry. Follow up with an oil free moisturizer. I would do it before he goes to bed because it can make his face red.
