if youve had them for a long time they could be keratosis pilaris, its a skin disease from excess keratin in your skin plugs.

If you've been on your knees on carpet it could be carpet burn. Also maybe fiberglass or you're allergic to something like grass or you wore new clothes that you haven't washed. try benedryll spray and then the pill at bedtime.

You could have a thyroid condition that effects your skin.

Allergies are also a possiblity.

Insect bites or spider bites also cause red bumps.

This might be called musculum, but usually you get that all over your body . If so, then it's a virus so you can't get rid of it. It just goes away eventually. I hope it gets better soon. :)

ooooo it may be exema. talk to a docter. I used to get this on the back of my legs. if it itches, its definitly exema. but if doesn't, maybe its just some sort of rash or allergy you need to go to a doctor if this persists.

im amazed at how many answers there are here but they are ACTUALLY little tiny pimples that form under your skin they dont itch or hurt but if you squeeze them they are just like pimples i got them on my arms and knees (too) buti know what they are but not how they show up (try a different shampoo maybe) .
