Ingrown hairs- better to use razor or electric shaver??

Ive been reading some websites and some say they advise people to use electric shavers because they can prevent ingrown hairs...others say not to use electric shavers such as this one...

what do i do? I am getting a lot of red pimple-like ingrowns the last month and its been killing me. Why is this happening out of nowhere? I don't usually get ingrown hair...but now I do..I have already switched to using two different kinds of aftershave...before I didn't even need aftershave...but now im desperately trying to fix this problem...please help!

Dude,i have had an electric shaver for 3 years and it is amazing,something that u will like about electric shavers is that it uses a smooth covering and the top has small holes to cut the hairs. but if u get razor it is gonna hurt like heck to shave cuz u have the chance to bleed or get knicks.i am a doctor and i have research about the difference and electric shavers cut 23% more hairs and you will feel fresh every day.but for the pimples you should use clean and clear.it works immeidately and it really hellps.if these problems dont go away i would reccomend seeing a doctor.and the aftershave that works for me is addidas after pulse it works great and plez take my advice cuz trust me it will definetly help u,Good Luck

Each are going to irritate the skin. try using a warm cloth on the ingrown hair, and also use tea tree oil, it is soothing and will reduce irritation.
